Zakk Wooten's musical journey began at just 15 years old, and he's been captivating audiences ever since. As a high school junior, he co-founded the professional music group No Better Cause, setting the stage for a career full of creative collaborations and unforgettable performances. After graduating, Zakk joined Soul’D Out, an exhilarating group that took him on unforgettable adventures across the high seas with Celebrity Cruise Lines.

His passion for music led him to pursue a degree in Music Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he didn't just study – he created. There, he founded and directed the innovative a cappella group Rocktavo, guiding them to the ICCA finals in their debut year. Not only did they secure second place, but Zakk's original arrangement also earned the coveted title of "Best Arrangement."

After graduation, Zakk was recruited by The Cat's Pajamas to launch a sister group, The Cat’s Meow, for Norwegian Cruise Lines, taking his musical talents on another thrilling global tour. In 2010, The Cat's Pajamas invited Zakk to join them full-time in Branson, Missouri, where he became a cornerstone of their performances until 2011. At that point, Zakk took the reins and formed his own group, re:Voiced, once again hitting the road to share his love for music with the world.

Now settled in Denver, Colorado, Zakk has traded in the suitcase for a closet but still embraces every musical opportunity that comes his way. He is a producer and musician with the Diamond Empire Band; helping to oversee over three hundred events a year all across the state of Colorado and playing as many as his schedule allows. Whether in the classroom or on stage, Zakk’s passion for music continues to shine, and his journey is far from over.
